I don’t usually write reviews but this is one of those movies I wish I could give more than 5 stars. It is a heartwarming telling of the story behind Winnie the Pooh that I never knew and I’m sure many people don’t. Who knew that Christopher Robin was a real little boy? Shed some tears. Overall a really great movie!

the film was fine, but now i can't look at my winnie the pooh books without getting angry at the images of how a child was abused for money. nice of the industry to pocket even more money while clearly showing the dark underside of something i once though beautiful.
  • Excellent Story!

Miss Potter comes to mind when I think of recent film adaptations of Great Authors and Illustrators. However, this exceeds even that lovely adaptation. The computer generated watercolors, brief , are superb, the music is sweet and perfect. The cast is superb , Margot Robbie even makes me almost, forget the horrid I Tanya. The styling is perfect , cinematograpy, I just hope there are enough people who like a kind family film. Simon Curtis is to be congratulated for his fine directing,

If you go and check your fax you’ll learn that the mother of the child that was depicted as Christopher Robin was the actual true inventor of this story! Her husband just wrote it down and took credit for it. In the film she is depicted as an unscrupulous woman when actually she was the creator of one of the most brilliant children stories in the modern world! Yet another slap in the face and rip off of women’s brilliance! I recommend you boycott this movie in support of women’s pride!

I absolutely loved this movie. I can’t remember the last time I cried in a movie. The actors were all superb and the little boy who played Christopher Robin was adorable. I am now reading “The Enchanted Places” written by the real Christopher Robin.
