After being forced to place a want ad looking for a roommate to share his tiny New York City apartment, Charlie finds himself at a personal, professional, and financial dead end. Things can’t seem to get any worse when Charlie finds his ex-girlfriend standing on his front door in response to his ad, but slowly he begins to find inspiration and purpose in the presence of the woman who broke his heart.
