I am happy to see the other reviews here are by actual viewers and not people that worked on the film like on so many other terrible horror flicks I rent bc of the high reviews only to find that I was duped. This film is fun, it had a low budget and did okay with it. I have seen more done on such a budget so it depends on where you put the money. But this would be worthy to play in the background of a party for sure and I really like the art direction and set design (both well done). The acting from one of the leads is very stiff and forgettable, like he needed way more direction (or any direction) while the other actor lights up the screen.

I actually really liked it was a haunted house film with the two leads playing well off each other. It had some plots holes. I'm sure with a bigger budget it would've been fabulous but you're well into the film before anything scary/spooky happens. The story was good the actors were good just not enough scares.

This movie was like a blend of House on Haunted Hill and 13 Ghosts type-of-feel, but on a much lower budget. It definitely had a lot of comedic moments. The British paranormal investigator was really funny. The plot was pretty predictable, though and has been done before. But, overall, I wasn't that disappointed--- mostly because of that one actor.
