Description

As a huge electrical storm sweeps towards Texas, lineman Beau (John Travolta, Pulp Fiction) is haunted by memories of his brother’s death by lightning years earlier. Bailey (Kate Bosworth, Superman Returns), the niece Beau helped raise, has a secret she needs to share with her boyfriend, Duncan. But he and Beau’s brave team are racing to replace miles of power cables before the tempest strikes. Also starring Sharon Stone, "Life on the Line" is a tribute to the heroes who risk it all to keep us safe.

Some people work very hard to save their brothers and sisters. This movie is great.

I can't figure why people are hating on this movie. It may not perfectly portray the life of linemen (whom I have the upmost respect for) but it's a movie, not a documentary, and they can only put so much in it. (If you remember that it's based on true events) it will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time and leave you feeling emotional by the end. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Someone did not do there homework when writing the script for this disaster of a movie! I have been a Lineman, and Emergency Service Specialist for a major utility 35 years and I can't believe you honestly think you have captured what we do. Shame !

This is a wonderful powerful understated film. If you like character development and subtle emotional articulation you should give this movie a chance. I loved every minute and am thankful that films like this are made. Enjoy and feel!

Why is a movie with a *ZERO PERCENT* Tomatometer rating with horrendous reviews in i-tunes “Recent Discoveries”? What exactly did you discover?

This movie was not bad. There should be more movies about how real life is of the hard workers who do provided us with good lives. these other reviews may dislike the fact that when they made this movie they weren't thinking of the importance of a message they are trying to get out. I may be one person but I do appericate all the hard work of all the men and women do for us; and thank you to the people who did want to show the world what they do to.
