Legends bottom line , never understood in America and better off for it . This is easily one of the 5 best music docs of all time .

Such an epic rockumentary! These were definitely some of the best times of my life as they were for the band. Everything from the sibling rivalry to the social controversies is revealing in this film. An must for every Oasis fan to watch!

Felt like a PowerPoint presentation set to music. Grainy footage was tiresome. If you rent this one don’t bother with HD. If you are a die-hard fan you’ll probably love it. For a general fan of the genera this one is middle of the pack. Band starts in garage. Band gets some gigs. Band explodes in popularity. Hotel rooms are trashed. Drugs, booze. Band members start fighting with each other. Band implodes. Nothing new here.

Saw this last week in the theater here in the US in one of the very few places showing it in my state. Being my favorite band, I may be a little biased, but in comparison to other documentaries on bands, this one is hands down in my top 5 of all time. The commentary is amazing. Even for super fans like myself, there was a ton of new footage and interviews I'd never seen. I can't wait to rent this and check out the extras! 10 out of 10 I would watch this again and recommend it to anyone even casually interested in the biggest, and in my opinion the best band to come out of the U.K.

If you are looking for the "tell all" Oasis story about their rise and fall from fame, this is not the documentary for you. I went into this documentatry with that very mentatality...but was I ever glad to be wrong. It focuses on their 2 first albums and the Gallagher Brother's rise to glory and fame. The story is ok - if you are an Oasis fan, there are no real suprises. But the behind the scenes footage, imagery and interviews are simply incredible. A must see for any Music fan of the 90's.

Excellent documentary. Doesn't tread new ground for the long time fan but it is a well made documentary. The most surprising thing I noticed was the common thread of growing up in an abusive house and how that made both Gallagher brothers who they are. Musically the best part of was the haunting version of Live Forever.
