Pay no mind to reviews by the Nay Sayers. And to those who nitpick. This movie was a wonderful time machine to the silliness of The Bat before all the dark brooding. Well worth viewing.

Robins iconic "batteries to power, turbines to speed" and the lack of a surprise guest while scaling up the wall were missing standouts that can't be forgiven.
  • Love the Batman Tv show...hated this

First if you can get by that Adam age shows in his voice. The story plot is terrible. The cartoon itself would have been better by making the batcave exact as the tv show. When they first jump into the batmobile, where was robin's batteries to power, turbines to speed. Really... could have been good. Wasn't

Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar deliver their A-game in this throwback. There's lots of alliteration, slapstick, and callbacks to the original show and movie. The animation reminds me of The Animated Series and the music is just like the old show! The pacing is a little off and I miss the constant narration of the series (he's in there for a little bit) but it's a great movie. I'm really looking forward to the next one where William Shatner will play Two Face.

...a loving satirical parody of the original satirical parody. It had the whole family laughing. Fun. Just fun.

There's subtitles in other languages. Where's the English subtitles? I depend on that to enjoy movies. Not all of us can hear!
  • No Cesar Romero Mustache???

As a child of the 60s I remember sitting in front of the TV on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Loved this show and it still holds up as campy good fun. When I heard about this animated movie being made I was somewhat dubious. Turns out I had nothing to worry about as all the fun and squareness of the TV show shines through. They even got voice actors that sound remarkably like Frank Gorshin, Burgess Meredith, and of course Cesar Romero. Adam West's voice is noticibly weak but remember he's now 88 years old. A fun trip back to the past.
  • A tribute unbefitting a legend

If you want a tribute to the 60's, watch BM:TAS Beware the grey ghost. This movie tries to be authentic to the point that it just has bad writing. Why don't they adapt hush or the long Halloween? Arkham Asylum? So many amazing titles and they choose this one
