Told over the course of one day, the film provides a rich slice-of-life portrait of people thrown together by pain and love who generate disturbing conflicts and surprising bonds that challenge the conventional assumptions about class and racial identity. The ensemble cast includes Stephen Axelrod, Bridget Barkan, Ron Butler and Reg E. Cathey.
