Description

H. is a mysterious, modern interpretation of a classic tragedy in which two women, each named Helen, live mirrored lives in the town of Troy, NY. The first Helen is in her 60s, lives with her husband, and takes care of an eerily lifelike baby doll called a “Reborn Doll,” which she cares for as though it were alive. The second Helen is in her 30s, has a successful art career and is four months pregnant. One night, something unexplainable falls out of the sky and explodes over the town. In the aftermath of this event, bizarre and unexplainable things begin to happen. As people in the town go missing en masse and unnatural cloud formations begin appearing in the sky, the two women find themselves and their lives spinning out of control.

I almost stopped watching it several times, thinking it was going to get better. It got 86% on rotten tomatoes, so I got to give it a chance right? Wrong! I watched it to the end it never go better. All I can remember is how boring it was and how I couldn’t believe that I wasted my time and money on this! Don’t waste yours! You couldn’t pay me to watch this again!

Maybe I'm just not as smart as I look- but I didn't understand a thing. Great cinematography- ok story..but unless your paying 100% undivided attention forget it.

Really enjoyed this film. I went into it expecting something totally different then what was delivered. The arthouse feel coupled with the grandiose tensions/score left me wanting. But, I think they achieved something here:) I'm still processing.

Sundance strikes again with a movie that had beautiful music, scenery just look at the picture. This movie is as explainable as the description with no answers, media knowsnothing, news knows nothing. The meteor that fell with a boom was decribed not a meteor just a double negative rhetorical bunch of garbage. The two helens lives have nothing to do with one another other than the boom of what i would call gravity changes, the earth is out of balance therfore causing ringing in the ears and water going up with clouds forming nothing out of the ordinary cumulous formation whitch has to do with astronomy. iI kmow bad or weird writing on my part but zero on their in. Sound like fun?
