Was very…very disappointed. This movie was way too “surfacey” to even come close to the true depth of emotional complexity between mothers and daughters. The script content/dialogue failed to meet the high caliber actresses in the film. First, there were too many characters, too many relationship scenarios to keep up with and try to remember who was who much less grow attached to any of them. I did not even shed a tear…why? because as a viewer the movie didn’t go deep enough to make me even want to care about any of them. Second, why do all the women have to be “rescued” by money or a man?? Really?? 1) A daughter gets a 2.3 million dollar inheritance and boom… just like magic all is good. 2) A daughter has a rich mother who can easily shell out 32K, for her business. 3) A Princeton grad has a mother who is a high profile fashion mogul who can easily launch her dream clothing line. 4) a single daughter who gets pregnant by a married man and then her OBGYN doctor falls in love with her while she’s pregnant…really??? “I’ll take care of you” the doctor says. It would have been way more interesting to see how this single working woman could pull off being a single mom WHILE having to take care of her mother. There’s a 5th and 6th scenario not even worth mentioning. The movie was all wrapped up in a very convenient, upper class, high dollar, designer bow. This is just…LAZY writing and LAZY directing.

He stories are not that compelling. The acting is weak even though the actors are good. Production lacks... I wanted to turn it off so many times but braved trough for the money o paid to rent it. These actresses should take this movie out of the market for the sake of their reputations.

I found this to be a heartwarming story. I found each character and their story intriguing and couldn't wait to learn more about each of them. Initially I was confused on who went with who but as the movie progressed it sorted itself out.

Looking at the review's I guess this is a film you either love or loathe. I watched it at home and really enjoyed it for what it is. My expectation was that it was going to be a light hearted story about the relationship between mothers and daughters and that's exactly what it is. The second half of the film is better when all the story lines come together, and of course the eye candy... Paul Wesley and the... ahem... Doctor dreamy!

I rented to support Ashanti. Simply love her song at the end of the movie. Now, about the movie. The acting was Ok I just think the director and writer could have done a better job of blending the parts. Some parts could have been left out. Overall, I enjoyed it.

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE. THE ACTORS WERE TERRIBLE AND NO STORY LINE TO THAT MADE ANY SENSE. THE CASTING DIRECTOR SHOULD BE FIRED!!!
