Description

Down on their luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights are finishing up a long and unsuccessful tour, and are about to call it quits when they get an unexpected booking at an isolated, run-down club deep in the backwoods of Oregon. What seems merely to be a third-rate gig escalates into something much more sinister when they witness an act of violence backstage that they weren’t meant to see. Now trapped backstage, they must face off against the club’s depraved owner, Darcy Banker (Stewart), a man who will do anything to protect the secrets of his nefarious enterprise. But while Darcy and his henchmen think the band will be easy to get rid of, The Ain’t Rights prove themselves much more cunning and capable than anyone expected, turning the tables on their unsuspecting captors and setting the stage for the ultimate life-or-death showdown.

  • Dirty Rotten Tarantino style of film

Green Room was the most depressing but entertaining violent movie i have seen. It has a brilliant cast and it's source material is cool but the plot is all over the place and it's kinda messy. But the violence in this was over the top and messy but the movie itself was dumb and stupid but if Tarantino directed this movie it wouldn't be so much different to certian people.

This movie is super dope, it’s not trying to be the next horror classic which i think is the best part of the whole movie. It’s non stop fun with an amazing cast!

I'm dinging it extra to balance out the good reviews it doesn't seem to warrant. No it's not a home run. It's only ok.. If that.

I bought this based on the reviews. I mean, that many people loving it, couldn't be all wrong, right? I was bored. REALLY bored. At the end i said "is that it?!" I even went toread the synopsis on MIDB to see if Iw as just missing something. Nope. Didn't miss a thing. Someone else said buy it, don't rent it becase you'll wish you had bought it. That was the reason I bought it. What a mistake. It was just plain boring. Live and learn.

Ruthless violence, unremitting dumb plot, Patrick Stewart at his worst, and myopic meth crackin' teenagers. Put in blender, and hit chop. Serve to an adoring public.
  • Technically great to watch, but...

I saw the technical greatness of this film's production crew, director and actors. The script is tight and actually makes sense for a group of people in a situation as such. Unfortunately, I just did not enjoy this film at all on a personal level. It's not for me, but I can see how others and critics enjoyed it more than I did.
  • Refreshing

I was immediately sold in the opening scene. So raw, so real. I thoroughly enjoyed this films story and the performances of every cast member involved.
