Cabin Fever

I love the original but why does this exist? The original is barely more than 10 years old so there’s no reason to have a remake so soon but I still gave it a shot hoping the makers would somehow prove me wrong. 5 minutes in and I was ready to turn it off, this is EXACTLY the same as the original, some of the dialogue is slightly different but most of it is EXACTLY the same. The story plays out the exact same way and some of the actors even deliver their dialogue just like the characters in the original. It’s currently on Netflix, if you feel like you need to see this for some reason, watch it there, don’t spend money on this unneeded garbage.

It's nearly a shot by shot remake of the original with worse acting and effects. This movie is unnecessary and embarrassing. The original wasn't a classic but for what it was it wasn't completely terrible. But this remake is one of the worst things I've ever seen. Don't waste your time or money.

The original was a cult classic, classic being a loose word. It's not even that old. I didn't even know they made this version and was trying to watch the original on tv last night. It was unfortunately this one. It's so bad, the acting is terrible, even the most memorable parts of the original weren't redone correctly. I'm guessing it was a LOW budget. Don't bother with this remake it's horrible!!!

Possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. It was as though a group of friends in high school with no acting experience (or talent) decided to make a movie in their backyard.

The first movie was great. No need to remake it this soon. This new one is a waste of time and money!

This may be the worst re-make yet. Awful, awful, awful. Everything I keep reading about this movie being gorier than the first is a selling tactic because it's not true. Terrible acting, the script from the original was beyond butchered and you just keep asking yourself "why?" Save your money and not waste it on these worthless remakes.

what was wrong with the original? why would they waste money to remake something that didn't need to be remade? waste of money, time and effort on the part of the production crew

Any cabin fever fan will enjoy this remake . It's more or less the same store but updated . It's the cabin fever since the original one came out .
