Mannnnnnn…. Dude is a musical genius. A straight up Legend. But he’s wayyyyyyyy outta his mind on the whole “The Jews run the world” antisemitism nonsense. Somebody needs to tap his chin for a needed wake up call 👊👊

While it's not entirely a documentary, it's also not entirely a concert film. It's a mix of both. In that regard, it's similar to the "Pink Floyd in Pompeii" Director's Cut. There is concert footage mixed with extra footage that gives more meaning to the music. While I picked this one up on sale, it's definitely worth the full price, and I honestly wish I had bought this sooner so that I could have enjoyed it longer. The "non-concert" footage really drives home the subject matter of The Wall. Especially Roger's feelings about the loss of his father so early in life. That strikes a chord in me, in a way, as I lost my father early in life as well. While my loss was due to addiction rather than war, I can still relate to the fact that he grew up missing a huge part of himself in that regard. I will be watching this very often!

Let's face it, Water's was a good writer and concept man but this CD & DVD show Wares for what he really is a horrible bass player (always was) and at best a poor vocalist. He was always given too much credit when we all know that Gilmour and Wright carried Pink Floyd musically and vocally. The movie is a testement to Water's egotism and self impotantance. Boo hoo, so is father was killed in WWII when he was a child just like millions and millions of other children but he makes a living at it and the film is a pitiful attempt of trying to make the audience feel some kind of sympathy for his loss. Get over it like 10's of millions of other children around the world. Save your money. If you want too see a performance of a lifetime buy Live in Gdansk by David Gilmour, still recording, playing, producing, mixing, writing and touring with new material at 71 years old and better than ever.

Just great

I was blessed enough to have the opportunity to see the show live. Most people would say that watching a movie is nothing like seeing a show live. But this film shows every beautiful moment in every angle and to me just as amazing as seeing it live. The moment during the comfortably numb solo when Roger hits the wall and the amazing effects that follow are only surpassed by the film showing the reactions of the crowd. Most of them with tears in their eyes. Just beautiful! I was surprised to see that a few people here had given it a low review. When I read their reviews I realize that most of them aren't even Roger Waters fans, re: "Where's the rest of Floyd?" Lol. Anyone else who is an actual Pink Floyd and Roger Waters fan should feel lucky that Roger decided to release this as a movie so everyone would be able to obtain that same feeling and experience that I did. Do not watch this on your phone, don't watch bits and pieces of it here and there. Make an evening of it. Put it up on the widescreen, throw on the surroundsound, grab a drink and a snack and sit back and experience this movie in it's entirety, follow the message. It's life-changing.

I was fortunate to have seen this show live twice. Something of such incredible artistic significance maybe comes along once a century. Seeing this performed live was the equivalent of seeing Beethoven conduct his own symphony, Shakespeare direct his own play or DaVinci painting the Mona Lisa - IMO history will place The Wall on the same pedestal. Both times I saw it, I had goosebumps and frequently shed tears. Watching this film, I had goosebumps and shed tears. I know I will never live to see another show of this caliber - and I’m ok with that. I am grateful I got to see this.
