    Watched this because we love Simon Pegg. So glad we did. The story is great. A wonderfully written tale of the date that should never have been. Believe in fate for it can make miracles happen, at least for Nancy and Jack. Everything about this movie was well done.

    Started a little slow and the “meet-cute” follows the standard “could be resolved in 2 ticks by speaking up” but by the end I loved both of them and thought they were perfect together. Even liked how supportive her family was before her speech. Would watch again.

    ...but he thinks she's the right one but the right one really was the wrong one...and then madness ensues. Light hearted rom com. The chemistry between Simon & Lake is adorable. I enjoyed this movie.

    Middle age Rom Com with a a unique plot. It’s cute, funny and silly with a sappy ending; like all good Rom Coms. But this one is more for middle aged, single people. Both Simon Pegg and Lake Bell put everything they have into their performances.

    The movie was not exactly profound and a few scene choices are unrealistically distracting. It was overall a good date night movie with a good soundtrack. A second viewing might further expose flaws.
