Loved everything about it! The storyline, acting and even camerawork are all strong here. All of the characters’ inner conflicts intertwine to make CASS a compelling film. Detroit as a backdrop offers a setting of both beauty and hardship. Performances by David Dastmalchian (Dark Knight, Prisoners, Animals and Ant Man), James McDaniel (NYPD Blue and many others) and Rachel Hilson (The Good Wife) stand out in a solid cast. I’ve watched it three times so far. I highly recommend it!

From the intriguing storyline to the standout performances by David Dastmalchian, James McDaniel and Rachel Hilson, this film is one of the best I’ve watched recently. Set in Detroit, it depicts the issues the city faces today and really pulls viewers in. I’ll be watching this one again and would definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed Cass. I was quite invested in the main characters lives by the end of the film, after feeling so drawn in to their individual plot lines. I definitely recommend seeing it!

I'm particularly fascinated with the city of Detroit, which is just one of the reasons I enjoyed watching CASS. The city makes for a very rich and interesting backdrop. I thought that the cast were all great, particularly the performances of David Dastmalchian and James McDaniel. And when I saw the Diego Rivera mural scene in this movie, I knew I actually needed to go see them in real life. If you're into art, exploring the big questions about life, family ties and/or have any interest in Detroit, you should see this film!

CASS took me by surprise. It is a kind of urban fairytale, set in Detroit. Rachel Hilson and David Dastmalchian are particularly good, with real on-screen chemistry. (The scene at the Diego Rivera mural was especially beautiful.) I'm definitely going to watch this again.
