Hercules

Great movie, good acting and actors, but this is NOT about Hercules. It's just about some big dude named Hercules. It has almost nothing to do with the Roman hero and god, who was the son of Zeus. Very, VERY disapointing, in that regard.

Not sure why people bash this movie so much. Dwayne Johnson's acting was actually good in this movie compared to other action flics he's been in. Like some Disney stories that are using some folk tale, then rewriting it for script, that's all one should expect from this. Think of it as one more tale of Hercules. Who was the "actual" Hercules anyway. It's just entertainment folks. It's not getting to the truth of what the Universe is about. I think Rotten Tomatoes, again, didn't get it.

I thought this movie was going to be about the actual hercules tale but it was some sort of hercules comic book that some one made up. The action scenes were ok but it wasn't that entertaining or true to the hercules story as i thought it was going to be

This turned out to be a very good movie.

And I do, this one is chronically watchable. It's a Dwayne Johnson movie, so expect some wrestling action, but no nasty surprises. Not bad... If you're looking for an excuse NOT to watch this movie, then don't watch it.
