An utterly unstimulating movie in every regard. The acting is uninspired and the plot just goes nowhere. Tim Roth as a Russian oligarch?! What were they thinking?
  • Better than most spy thrillers

It is refreshing to watch a spy movie where the story is good enough to keep one's mind really engaged and the movie is not an excuse for non-stop "shoot 'em ups" and special effects action scenes. There is also no constant unwarranted silly violence like there is in most other movies of the genre. The sex scenes are really hot,yet very tastefully done. Most film makers can learn some lessons here. Good movie. Worth watching.

Tried to be a thriller, a mystery, a spy drama, a love story, West versus Russia, good spy, bad spy, erotic and very of the moment geopolitically. Well, Ms. de France's orgasms are excellent eroticism. But the director dropped the ball on most of the rest of the hit list. Good cast, no script, no pace. I felt like I went out for dinner and only got served a saltine cracker. Heck of a good idea very poorly designed story and directed with no hope in the beginning, middle or end of becoming a good film. It was like a 1950's spy film done in Technicolor! with Surround Sound in an Air Conditioned Theatre. Sad.

With films like this you can be happy Hollywood and the libs are deep in the garbage can. This is one very very well made action film with superb acting.
  • Super cast but the movie is an absolute mess

Like the cast although Dujardin seems like he is sleepwalking through this movie. The sex scenes are the most lazy and tacky i have ever seen. The plot goes nowhere and ends up a mess. The end is like the rest of this.. boring
