Description

It's time to stand up for the little guys! From the best-selling children's novel by Carl Hiaasen comes this larger-than-life story of three kids who answer the call of the wild by protecting a family of endangered miniature owls in Florida. But when a housing development threatens the fragile species, the threesome must learn to think big, break some rules and take a stand. Starring Luke Wilson (Legally Blonde, Old School), Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma, TV's Jack & Bobby) and Cody Linley (TV's Hannah Montana, Cheaper by the Dozen), this fun-filled eco-adventure escapade will delight kids and adults alike. Also starring Emmy Award and Golden Globe-nominee Robert Wagner (Austin Powers trilogy, TV's Hart to Hart).

This movie sucked and the acting was trash. I don’t like reading, but I’ll stick to the book. It was way better.

HOOT IS MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE MOVIE. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I WATCH IT, IT IS ALWAYS AMAZING. I will not last 2 seconds in a car if there is not a little TV and a hoot CD. Or now on my phone. HOOT IS A MUST WATCH. I don't know how it only has 4 and a half stars.

The thing that made me drawn to this movie, was Logan Lerman. He is my favorite actor and I wanted to see him when he was younger also I had read the book. The book I totally recommend, the movie is a great adaption to the book. But the only problems I had with the movie was the lighting of the scenes and the music. First the music. When you think of a movie is that about standing up for what you believe in, you probably think of pop music like "Keep Holding On" by Avril Lavigne. No it's country music 😑 really? Country music for a movie about standing up. Lastly, the lighting of the scenes. The lighting was werid and sometimes annoying at times. Too dark most of the time. Overall the movie is a great adaption and perfect for the family.
