Description

Winner of 7 Academy Awards®, including Best Director! Sandra Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski, played by George Clooney. On a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalski completely alone - tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the darkness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

I thought this was unrealistic. I also thought the casting was terrible. Clooney’s character was a joke, and bullock was completely not believable. I thought this was a terrible movie.

This movie is visually stunning, but that’s all it is. It’s starts off great and then just turns into Sandra screaming and breathing for the next hour. George Clooney tells her she needs to save oxygen , but then asks her to answer questions. It’s just another reason the Academy shouldn’t allow giving of gifts and bribery to voters.
  • Great film. Only watch in 3D on big screen

I see lots of people here on this site who give Gravity 1 or 2 star reviews. This gives the overall movie a rating of around 3 1/2 to 4 our of 5 stars. That’s worse than Cars 2. Most people say that the reason they don’t like Gravity is because they say it’s boring. To a normal person watching this movie on their TV or phone, I can quite see where your coming from. The thing about Gravity is that it’s not exactly as meant to be seen as it is to be experienced. And IMAX 3D is a must for this film. I didn’t quite see it that way, I did watch it on a projector with a Blu-Ray 3D disc of Gravity. The result was striking. The movie on the big screen is heart-pounding and suspenseful. It’s an edge of your seat ride that can’t be seen on a small screen. And while most film don’t “need” 3D to get you to fully enjoy it, it’s definitely a MUST for Gravity. I know because I saw this film 4 times. Twice on the projector in 3D, once on a computer, and once on a TV. Needless to say, the overall content of the movie is enhanced with projector 3D while the other two didn’t quite do that job so well. On the big screen in 3D, it’s intense, it’s visually stunning, and it’s inspiring. If you see it in any other way except for 3D on the big screen, you’re doing it wrong. While I understand that not everyone quite has that certain equipment, I wanted to say that this film deserves a lot more than 3 1/2 stars. And, personally, I think the film, even without the 3D, is pretty ok. But still, 3D on the big screen is the best if not the ONLY way to see this majestic and very incredible film.

Alfonso Cuaron direct the visualy and terrifying trope that was Pan's Labyrinth but with Gravity most of it is kinda boring there is nothing much going on really all we have is Sandra Bullock float around space well it was gripping and thrilling but with Bullock shouting at the screen is incredibly annoying.

I saw the movie and I thought Gravity more like Bore Ragnarok.
  • Hey there’s a fire in a pure oxygen environment.

You might want to put it out before trying to contact George. No logic behind the movie. But somewhat entertaining.
