The first half of this is from the justice tour, it's the best live recording they've done, after that is from the black album tour, it's ok but they sound tired (though that's justifiable considering the length of the tour), and they spend a lot of time just screwing around. I'm not just bashing them for selling out, I actually like Quebec Magnetic more than the second half of this
  • Amazing Concerts!

I watched both concerts on YouTube last night, and let me say, this is the Metallica I know & love! I wish they made more concerts like this instead of the last 2 concerts.

I still have the original box set on VHS with tour book and stencil. This is a great set to own. Most memorable moment is the show from '89 during the Justice tour. This is the Metallica I grew up listening to and loved. A MUST HAVE!

Now all we need is the third concert that was on cd or on tapes to show up on I tunes. I still have my box set of VHS and tapes. Can't use them any more so I'm happy to see this set on I tunes.

Arguably, most metal fans consider Metallica's prime to be in the late 80's to late 90's, and this is the best example why. Metallica ruled the world during the late 80's/early 90's and for the people who were too young to attend one of the shows back then, including myself, will especially love this. The quality is amazing, the guitar tone great, but Hetfield's voice during this time was even greater. Mix that with Newsted's bass, Kirk's pristine leads, and Ulrich's awesome sounding drum kit, this is a live show you won't soon forget.

These concerts show the ferocity and power Metallica had in the late 80's and early 90's. This is a must have for any Metallica fan, it's unreal!
