Evil Dead

While this one seems to be a decent remake, it felt like it was trying a little bit too hard with the shock/gore value. It’s like they turned it up to Mach 10. it was very entertaining but I still prefer the original.

This is one of the jest remakes ever made. Forget the original the original is boring and has bad acting this one is top notch the best and has great acting. Love Jane levy. Please buy this one u will love it for all you horror fans out there.

Just watch the original and pretend this movie doesn’t exist, you’ll be more happy in life.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 24 (2020)

Most movie remakes are only being remade to make some extra cash. However, this movie actually has a reason to exist with, in my opinion, a much more kick add beginning and ending and explored the possession rules of deadites more and showed what they are capable of. While this movie isn’t perfect, it’s still great and Jane Levy was an amazing actress and carried the lead role on her shoulders.

I just brought this film to watch and it keeps saying it’s unacceptable but they took my money

When I initially saw this in theatres I was extremely disappointed but that month, when wanting to go to the movie more often, there was nothing to see so I ended up seeing Evil Dead around 5 more times and grew to really appreciate it and eventually love it. It's feat when a visionary, visceral, director creates a film you want to revisit and fall under it's spell again and again. There is logic in the movie that is ridiculous, not the most consistent realism.....but it's actually quite a work of art and entertainment. I will eventually own this film.

I loved the original, but I debated leaving the theater while watching this one. The amount of gore was just way over the top.

Would like to purchase the unrated version :/
