This is an intense drama ... a surrealistic drama that will leave your head spinning or make you feel a bit off if you are not ready for it.

This film takes place in the same universe as American Psycho. The lead character, played by James Van Der Beek, is Patrick Bateman's brother.
Deeper than Just a College Party Movie

Warning- while there are plenty of college party scenes and sex, etc., this isnt like American Pie: Frat House or whatever mindless movie they are making nowadays. This actually gets to the heart of the human condition. Deals with addiction, homosexuality, unrequited love, depression and much more. I wouldnt say it is the "deepest film in the world" but it is so much more than just some lighthearted comedy. I remember talking to someone about this film who had watched it in the theatres and, from the trailer, he thought that- more or less- that was how it was going to be. I actually bought the book after watching it!

This is one of the best films you've probably never seen. It's feels like a 90s film like "Can't Hardly Wait." The acting feels very real and the teenage angst feels authentic and hormonal. Ian Somerhalder does an impeccable job playing a gay college students trying to find someone to be romantic with. James Vanderbeek plays the role of an over drug college students who is typical in America and is dead inside and numb to the worlds yet trying to find meaning. Many things happen in the film and it feels like more than two hours yet goes by fast because so many different things happened and the film ends abruptly. I think anyone who loves 90s or early 2000s films and loves seeing college life play out would enjoy this picture. Ian Somerhalder really steals the show with his storyline.
