Those that grew up in the 80's know that the original broadcast of this event was of all the bands that played that day. Starting with Quite Riot, Motley Crue, Ozzy... then Judas Priest, Triump and Scorpions... then finally Van Halen. Yes the video only showed 3 songs from each band.... but WAAAAY better than this video. If someone would have posted that this video was ONLY Judas Priest, Triumph and Scorpions, I probably wouldn't have bought this. Where is the rest of the show???? Day 2 was so much more than this video!!

There's definitely more footage than this. They also aired the US Festival on cable, ONTV. Ozzy walks on stage wearing a Witch Doctor costume.
  • Been there 2 incredible days, only wish I could remember it all.

This is a pretty good snapshot of the US festival, but there are so many acts that are not represented on this film. Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Van Halen just to name a few. Worth a look, especially if you were there, or if you have kids that think you were always an uptight doofus. Show em how we rocked in the '80's!
