The title says it all. I will forever have a special place in my heart for this movie. It brings back so many memories with my lil sister and I can’t wait to someday show my children. This movie is perfect.

I love this movie! It’s a fun, sorta dark, romantic, roller coaster movie. Rotten Tomatoes needs to up their rating of this fantastic movie. Sandra Bullock and Nichole Kidman are wonderful in this!

Like a PG Showgirls...but about witches. Just terrible story, worse than a comic book. But watchable after plenty of Wine Spritzers or a nice sauvignon blanc and cheese plate with ya girls. Just trashy cartoon 90's movie.

Don’t watch the trailer. 1) It spoils the entire film and 2) It presents this movie as a comedy - which it is NOT. Not sure why the rotten tomatoes score is so low, except they tend to loathe anything approaching the chick flick genre. There is a lot here to unpack about feminism and sisterhood but you can fully enjoy the film without giving any thought to those topics as well. Two sisters lose their parents when young and believe it is because the women in their family were cursed to lose their love. The girls grow up to have very different attitudes about this and experience their own love and loss. Throughout the film their own relationship is tested and changing. This is one of those films you can’t help watching whenever you find it on tv. Kidman and Bullock give underrated performances here.
