Best ever movie ever

I watched this movie with my mom, and I loved it so much! I never cry at movies, but this made me cry, laugh, and smile! It’s so cleverly written and will leave you feeling emotional in the best way possible! It’s a very sweet story that feels genuine. I totally recommend for anyone who’s looking for a great romantic comedy-drama to watch! To whoever said it’s cheesy, you just don’t know true entertainment when you see it!

Thank you Bonnie Hunt and all who wrote this story. While it may be considered a chic flick it's a beautiful and spiritual story about love, family, friends and life. It's funny, serious at times and a pleasure to watch. It's one of my go to feel good movies. Worth the $$$$! Enjoy!

love this movie!!

As Chic Flicks go this is one of the best. Love it. It isn't necessarily believable but who cares. It draws you in. It is a sweet story line and even though it is predictable you still cheer when themain characters get together. Funny. Romantic. Entertaining. Sad. It has it all. If you are sitting at home and wondering what movie you and your wife can agree on...check this out. You won't be sorry.

Funny thing is, my dad is not the one who likes romantic movies, but this one he really does like. I love this movie! It's so funny, sad, heartwarming, and just beautiful! This is a MUST SEE! And a MUST OWN!

It's a romantic comedy so I guess I liked it since it has nothing to do with reality. A little cheesy but it has some funny parts.

Strangely, what I liked most about this movie was the supporting charachters! I loved the conversations between Grace's grandfather and his friends. Those characters were so real, the acting was so supberb, they made you wish you could hang out with them in the restaurant. While the original premise might be a bit of a stretch , it actually comes across as plausible. First rate movie and one of my all time favorites! The soundtrack is fantastic, too!

I would never have rented this film by the sound of it, except that I've learned I can ALWAYS trust Minnie Driver to move me with her uniqueness as an actress. I was absolutely not disappointed, and was pleasantly surprised by the tender and authentic subtleties of David D's character I loved every moment of this story and the Joy undergirding the characters within Minnie's family circle, replete with a rare mix of elements of current and past American culture. A definite classic.
