And Elvis dives for dollars in Easy Come, Easy Go. On his last day in the Navy, frogman Elvis discovers a sunken treasure ship. On his first day as a civilian, Elvis starts his new job-self-employed treasure hunter! Fans will dig these treasures, too: Rockin' tunes, romance with a go-go dancer, underwater action, and The King twisted like a human pretzel at a groovy '60's yogafest! Of the many things I love about Elvis movies is his characters' profession. Just as the Colombo writers used to go through the phone book to pick out professions for the murderers, Elvis's writers went through the "cool fantasy jobs for guys" book to pick Elvis's profession. Racecar driver, deep sea diver, helicopter pilot, cowboy, motorcycle riding roustabout, Hawaiian beach boy, ... the list goes on. This is another movie that will make you laugh and smile and remember how much joy Elvis gave to the world. For those who say he "couldn't" act, give me a break! He acted perfectly for the parts he was given. When he had a demanding role like in King Creole or Jailhouse Rock he unpacked the acting chops; for the fun stuff -- he winked at the camera and told everyone to have fun. I suppose there are others who made billions of people happy singing dancing acting and cutting up, but I can't think of anyone who comes close to Elvis for sheer numbers of people entertained.
