This movie shows how you can start from having to nothing to having it all just by putting some effort. It also makes feel like you are her and you want to become her.

The eccentric and overpriced outfits, the distinct soundtrack and cinematography, and iconic city of fashion all come together to perfectly encapsulate an era in modern (film in) America. Not to mention the witty script that all the characters abide by, whilst embodying unique personalities of their own — which makes the movie quirky, yet funny! Many of the negative reviews that claim that this movie is too cheesy or unrealistic are completely ignoring the type of movie that this is. Yes, it is based on the book, but that does not mean that it must strictly abide by it. This genre and style of chick flick needs to be revived and contextualized into current times, it’s too good to die.

I came across this movie 🎥 by accident, but glad I rented it. Was very upbeat and enjoyable mindless entertainment. Good for a cold or drab rainy day 👗👠👜

Cracks me up! First of all, I am not a shopaholic. In fact, I loathe department stores. I get panic attacks after only 20 minutes in a mall and I grocery shop after 8pm to avoid, well, everything. However, this movie had me cracking up. The dance scene was UNFORGETTABLE. It's a charming movie. I recommend this movie.

How often do we get a movie with real character development in an easy to digest package out of Hollywood? Look no further. I was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent, extremely well-paced script, plenty of intelligent and plausible (extra surprise!) plot twists that sure kept my attention. My wife wanted to watch this comedy badly but I expected to be bored. The opposite happened - I found myself laughing a lot and being fairly thoroughly entertained. I couldn't believe the clever jokes and plot twists at times. With Confessions of a Shopaholic I finally say good-bye to the movie critics. Sure, I have always read their critiques with a grain of salt the size of Mt. Everest, but when I compare the reviews for Confessions of a Shopaholic with my own experience it's obvious movie critics appear to be seriously jaded, don't seem to watch more than 10 minutes of any movie they review, have extremely bad judgment and/or get paid to promote some movies over others. I am glad I believed the five star reviews from people like yourself here on iTunes and didn't put up a fight with the wife.

I rented this movie to watch on my iPad. It was obviously a horrible mistake to do that. I have been attempting to watch the movie but it will not play. iTunes has charged my credit card but the rental will not play. Suffice to say I will not be renting anything from iTunes again.
