Description

After a plane crash, a young therapist, Claire (Anne Hathaway), is assigned by her mentor (Andre Braugher) to counsel the flight's five survivors. When they share their recollections of the incident -- which some say include an explosion that the airline claims never happened -- Claire is intrigued by Eric (Patrick Wilson), the most secretive of the passengers. Just as Claire's professional relationship with Eric -- despite her better judgment -- blossoms into a romance, the survivors begin to disappear mysteriously, one by one. Claire suspects that Eric may hold all the answers and becomes determined to uncover the truth, no matter the consequences.

Of all the Anne Hathaway movies that came out at the time, this riveting thriller that required a passionate actress to sell the audience really showed her true talents as an Oscar worthy actress. Pay no attention to rotten tomatoes and many of the other comments here. I saw this movie at the theatres and was on the edge of my seat the whole time and watched it more than once. Her beauty alone made me want to see it again, but her acting and character in this film left me wanting more in the end. This is a movie worth owning and watching with your loved ones. We go through life like we are drivers/masters of our own destiny, but we really are only passengers in life and our actions we do in life influences what determines our fate. IMO, this movie determined Anne Hatheway's future as a serious actress versus playing comedies all the time. Her character and role in this movie made me want to see it again and again!!! I'll never forget it because it changed her career in movies forever.

Anne H. is the great actress and she really touch my heart, especially the ending of the movie..that she is ready to come home and see her sister. When suddenly a plane crash happened and it really broke my heart that she didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to her beloved. Really worth watching and I highly recommend this to all of my family and friends and everyone.. Ps. You got a small mind if you don't really understand the whole movie.. It's logic!

Now i dont want to ruin the movie, But i have to say it was pretty good. Definitely not what i expected but thats okay. If you like movies that keep you wondering the whole time this is a definite buy! But very terrible ending in my opinion. I feel as if i wasted my money in my opinion. Thank you! Stay Classy! Asa

The movie is not that bad. It is one of those movies that you can watch once. I am not a film school person but will say that the colors, the camera shots, cinematography and such was pretty good.

Plot has potential, too bad is Ann Hathaway in a role like this. She so fragile for SO long, that I stop caring and just made it to by then, an irrelevant climax.
