As a trans man myself his story speaks volumes to many other transgender individuals’ lives. Everyone’s story is different, but in one man’s story alone it brings to light the harsh and unfair cruelties that still plague trans men, women, and non-binary people. Movie was beautifully executed in a way that can bring an audience to better empathize with a group as misunderstood as trans men, as well as transgender people as a whole.

A horror at the heart of the plot. This movie is captivating and the love is beautiful, but it doesn't end well for the characters. Thinking about the conclusion churns my stomach. A good movie that will stick with me for a long, long time.

This is a very touching movie. Brandon didn't deserve what happened to him people are different there's nothing wrong with being different! I have a wife and I don't care what people think about us we have an open relationship we don't hide our love for each other. If people don't like it then don't look at us we are who we are!

I was not prepared for what I saw when I decided to watch this film. I found the story of Brandon Teena incredibly moving. It just shows how hate and prejudice can take the lives of the innocent. Brandon didn't deserve what he got. No one deserves what Brandon got. This movie will open your eyes, I strongly recommend it.
