Mars Attacks! has style and has it's bad momments. But it's certinaly the best spoof comedy sci-fi ever, the cast is memorable and the visual effects are a bit cheesy and cartoonish but Mars Attacks is a spoof not just a regular gotta save the world from aliens type of movie. Jack Nicholson does a excellent job playing the president of the united states and the film has good performences and hailrious celeb camoes it's a knockout!

This is one of the rare breed of quirky comedies that has staying power and is worth watching again and again. Forget the sophomoric young yahoos at RTomatoes. This is a lot of fun. Frankly, the only thing wrong with it is Nicholson's portrayal of the entreneur. He totally blew that. Other than this, it is truly great and - for those who are not among the culturally ignorant cynics of this generation - it hits all the right notes and makes all the right references.

I first saw Mars Attacks! in the theaters. Since then, I think I have seen this at least a dozen times. It is reminiscent of the old 1950s sci-fi films mixed with dark humor. A definite must see!!

This movie is so weird, so strange, so "(not) unusual"... that's why it's one of my favorite Tim Burton movies. With such a great ensemble cast and hilariously bad animation, this film makes fun of 50s and 60s alien movies. At the time, it had everybody you knew: Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Michael J. Fox, Martin Short, Annette Bening and so much more! It even featured a very-teenager Natalie Portman. Its story is so bonkers and nonsensical that it totally works for a movie like this! If you want to check out one of TIm Burton's funnier movies, then you should watch "Mars Attacks!". I highly recommend it.
