Sure it's got classic songs and story line, but the dance numbers are creative, dynamic and some of the best "dream" sequences in film history. Beats any modern digital movie fantasy world with real humans in it.

This movie is a gem. Expertly done as only black and white can do. This movie was what the 1980 hit Broadway musical, 42nd Street, was based off of. There's a richness to the film that makes you wonder what it would have been in color. A classic for everyone.
