Pitch Black

This is one of my favorite movies. The crash scene at the beginning is outstanding.

This movie and it stories are great to experience!

I actually thought this was pretty good overall. Also, in my opinion Vin Diesel did a fantastic job as Riddick.

With such a limited number of characters is such a dangerous situation, it's important that you get to know the main characters quickly, and Pitch Black does that, but then the subtlety begins. There's a back story here that you never get to hear, but the hint of it adds an air of psychological mystery to this low-budget, sci fi thriller that pushes it, IMO, from B to E-xcellent! Even the planet has its secrets. Some details are revealed, some are left to tickle your imagination, but none should prevent you from enjoying the action. RE: Mr. Diesel. I'm not one to watch a movie just to see muscles flex. I'd rather have a good story with interesting characters, and I thought this one delivered. The muscles were, however, a nice bonus ;). Vin Diesel does a singular job portraying Riddick, and this movie is among my favorites for those centered on character rather than sets. My only complaint is the unnecessary number of F-bombs. The movie would have been far more enjoyable if such language had been used sparingly to add impact to the appropriate scenes rather than liberally sprinkled throughout to ensure an R rating.

This is where I fell in love with this character and stayed with him. Please come back for revenge on "Sam" and the praying man. Sorry, I can not spell the name.

Best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a really fresh sci fi story and one of my favorites. Vin Diesel plays a really good villian who is not so bad. The whole premise of the movies explores a planet that is not earth like and very different in the evolution of it's creatures. I also recommend the chronicles of Riddick. If your a sci fi fan at least rent these and see them once.

Vin diesel was amazing this movie. I hate horror movies but it was amazing! The creatures whistles were so deliciously freaky. I loved it from start to finish.
