This movie is brilliant. It's thought provoking and pulls at the viewer's emotions. For those that said this movie was slow... they are wrong. This movie requires a certain level of intelligence with the need for a brilliant story line. When watching this movie I was instantly drawn in. I felt a connection with all of the characters and felt for them when they were hurting. This level of connection to the viewer is rare and this movie has that. This movie is a gem and definitely worth watching. It's a movie that I will find myself watching more than once.

The rhythm is so slow. yes there are some good frames, but oh my God this is boring! What was the point of this movie? On a good note Cameron Diaz is for once very moving. Until then i didn't know she could act. Well done… Other than you should go take a nap or take a walk instead of wasting an 1h56 min of your life...

Terribly depressing. Didn't even end on a moderately high note. Nothing Fresh about it. It felt old, tired, problems that were never solved.

The most boring movie ever and the sad part is I watched the whole thing sick and in bed with nothing else to do
  • A thinking movie

A thought provoking and interesting movie. It's interesting how everything ties together throughout and especially at the end.

Given the great reviews I read here on the itunes store, I thought I had found a great movie to own. I have one word for this movie- PAINFUL... it's slow, boring, and never goes anywhere. A complete waste of a night.
  • I loved this movie.

It is so quiet and sincere without being tedious or melodramatic. I do think it's underrated but can see why it has its detractors. It's a chick-flick, that's for sure, but it's more than that - it's independent film story telling at its best -- concise and with no frills and no filler. In other words, it's good lit. I'm all for that. Valeria Golino broke my heart but Kathy Baker thrilled it. This is a treasure to watch.

I did not get it. Tons of little stories, but they really did not come together that much. I hated wasting time and money on this one. I had my one night to watch a chick flick and I was very disappointed!
