The original was brilliant. Lucas used CGI to add plot holes and reduce realism. Sad.

We've seen it all before. Pick up just about any George Orwell novel. Or, for a pop-music encapsulation, list to Peter & Gordon's A WORLD WITHOUT LOVE (for sale on iTunes).

george lucas has his worst movie here for sure , yet this one goes much further and could be a top ten science fiction crap movie ! the whole plot and action could have been condensed to 10 minutes, but wait there is painfully more ! This steaming pile of s@#t goes on for over 2 hours of boredom ! I'm never getting that time back. It's movies like this that make me wish a refund was possible. Rent anything but this movie.

One of the best movies of all times. The peak of George Lucas' career. Sadly, it only went downwards from here. (Star Wars, American Graffitti, Indiana Jones are still great films, of course.)
