Description

In this spoof of the Robin Hood story, Robin (Cary Elwes) returns after a long battle to discover that the good King (Patrick Stewart) has been exiled, and in his place the evil King John (Richard Lewis) rules with the help of the despicable Sheriff of Rottingham (Roger Rees). Robin assembles a new band of merry men, including the Rabbi Tuckman (Mel Brooks), to unseat the bad King, and finds he has a friend in the palace with the lovely Maid Marian (Amy Yasbeth). Unfortunately her keeper, the haggard Broomhilde (Megan Cavanaugh), has installed a chastity belt on Marian to insure her virtue.

Unlike the other Robin Hoods, Cary Elwes doesn’t have to fake a British accent.

I first watched this bcuz Cary Elwes is in it. He is one of my favorite actors. I love him in The Princess Bride. It IS hilarious! Me and one of my best friends' favorite parts is when the Sherrif of Rottingham asks Robin Hood "and what makes u so different?" And he says "Bcuz unlike other Robin Hoods I can speak with an English accent!" Lol

I watched the movie and it was funny, but too cheesy and the acting was terrible. Plus, the girl Robin likes can't even ACT like she has an accent, funny or not. If you guys are into cheesy movies I highly suggest this one. (Still love Cary )

This is a classic comedy. It’s fantastic, and the humor isn’t so vulgar and anything. It’s good old classic Mel Brooks satire everyone loves. Like, you just can not NOT like this movie!! It’s got catchy song, cheesy romance, movie references, fourth-wall breaking, etc. It’s just amazing, I absolutely love this movie.
