Description

Blumhouse, the producer of M3GAN, The Black Phone and The Invisible Man—brings Five Nights at Freddy's to the screen. The film follows Mike, a troubled young man caring for his 10-year-old sister Abby and haunted by the unsolved disappearance of his younger brother more than a decade before. Recently fired and desperate for work so that he can keep custody of Abby, Mike agrees to take a position as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant: Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. But Mike soon discovers that nothing at Freddy's is what it seems. With the aid of Vanessa, a local police officer (Elizabeth Lail; You, Mack & Rita), Mike's nights at Freddy's will lead him into unexplainable encounters with the supernatural and drag him into the black heart of an unspeakable nightmare.

Great movie, really the only complaints is that it doesnt really follow the lore of the games. But it’s still awesome.

This could have been clever, fun and extremely spooky but it missed all the marks. The plot was strung out all over the place, things that were set up to be scary were not, the child actor (Abby) was written very two dimensionally and the lack of fear or the lack of tangibile horror was missing in all of them. This has a lot to do wit the setup and how were presented with ideas. There are so many missed opportunities with this that trully could have made it haunting or a cult classic. This was a bland movie, it arrived like flat soda.

But this movie is actually really good! Interesting plot, characters to root for, and you HAVE to love Abby. I definitely recommend! Suspenseful but not to scary or gory, so recommend to people who like horror, but are afraid to go too intense.

It didn’t have a lot of action, but I don’t care it’s my favorite video game and my favorite horror movie. I love the newest design of the pizzeria. I love the new changes and Matt patt’s in it. My favorite part is the springlock failure and Afton said the thing, HE SAID THE THING!!!

Scott, I must say you’ve outdone yourself The movie was awesome I went to see it in theaters on the day of the premiere with my friend (who was also a fan of fnaf) and we both loved it. We even cosplayed to the movie (i was Freddy and he was foxy) it went with the lore pretty well, even though there were a few things that were off, like Vanessa being William’s daughter, but other than that it went along very well. And there were so many cameos of other FNaF related stuff, when Matpat said “that’s just a theory”, I couldn’t have been happier! One thing is for sure, when Scott was making the movie, he had the fans in mind. Sure some people have been criticizing the movie because they thought “it didn’t have enough scares” or “it didn’t go along with the lore really well” and even that they knew Afton was the killer halfway through the movie, so? No one’s perfect. (Besides you’d probably find out who the killer was anyway) but all that aside seeing the movie in theaters was a lifetime memory I’ll never forget. There were a lot of people and a few other people were cosplaying, and they seemed really good compared to our “Amazon FNaF costumes” but we got a good laugh out of it. I even accidentally scared a child as we exited the theater. It was really fun and I’ll never forget. And I will admit, the balloon boy jump-scares got me every time. But hey, that’s just a theory, A FILM THEORY!! 🐻🎤🐰🎸🐤🧁🦊🪝
