We can all agree the first Matrix was epic. The second two at least got a novel plot and were not a re-hash of the first. This movie makes little since and has little point. The special effects don’t hold up. The whole film has a laziness about it and an assurance in its IP. (I bought it so clearly that worked). Is there anything good about this movie? No not really. It’s not worth owning and adds nothing to the Matrix universe.

What made the first one great this movie destroyed. Made Neo the sidekick, pathetic, and not the ONE. I know Hollywood is pushing the female macho character, but leave the franchises that made millions & millions alone. If you want a female lead, simply make a movie for them. Go WOKE go broke!

This movie was absolutely awful. The storyline was bad, the whole movie felt like I was waiting for more, and I’m guessing the “woke” nonsense is the reason Trinity got the cool powers at the end - strong female saving the day. Regardless, it was lame and made no sense. Again I say, lame. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to waste your time or money on this one.

I was a huge fan of the first Matrix. They should have never made this movie. The plot, graphic, and fight scenes were pretty bad.
  • No Idea What This Film is About

Easily top 5 worst movies of the decade. Which is unfortunate to say, because I personally enjoyed all of the Matrix trilogy (yes, even 3). But this movie is so bad I’m convinced the creators were trolling everyone. There is no way a movie could actually be this bad, especially being created by the genius of the Wakowskis, intentionally. After 2 full watch throughs I still couldn’t tell you what this movie was about. Seeing Keanu as Neo again was fun, but I seriously wish this film could be undone, as it serves no place in the Matrix universe, or any universe.
  • One of the worst movies I have ever seen

Like the title states one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Other than Star Wars 8 and 9 I have never seen a sequel just completely destroy the story and what came before it. The build up and story of Neo being the one in the originally trilogy but then someone else also being a one so now Neo is a two. There is more to it and it’s all just so bad. They could have went in some really cool ways. In the beginning when Neo was at the computer I thought it was gonna turn out he was the new architect but nope we get a dumpster fire.
  • Horrible from start to end…

Really wanted to like this movie. Another sequel that lends no feel or inspiration from the original film. It has no right to have Matrix” in the title. Casting didn’t fit at all in the picture. Especially the “new” versions of past characters. It was almost like it was a comedy that was making fun of the past characters. The only parts that were tolerable were the flashback clips of the original Matrix. Directors need to go back to school to learn why a great original film was successful in the first place. Whoever signs off on these films need to learn to say “NO, go back and do it over.”
