This was a beautiful story, but not because of the romance. Daphne’s strength is palpable, I loved every minute of watching her come to love herself. What a great narrative; you’ve had the keys this whole time to love yourself. Open the door, and set yourself free.
  • Authentic, messy and beautiful

What a refreshingly honest, artistically beautiful movie about the messy, often heartbreaking choices we make, and relationships we have with others and ourselves. Outside the typical boxed love story narrative, Shailene Woodley’s portrayal of Daphne’s journey felt so very real, raw, and relatable, relevant to the flawed world we *really* live in. One to watch again.

This movie spoke to me. Sometimes it takes so many “mistakes” in life before you get to the really good stuff. Learning to love and care for yourself without depending on others to fulfill you. It was a beautiful story of one women’s journey to self respect and love.

Seb and Jamie did it once again, they took my heart and stomped on it. Favorite new movie I’ve watched in quarantine so far. 💜 highly recommend!

The film captured human connection and intimacy in such a raw beautiful way. Something I think we are all longing during these uncertain times. Love the editing style as well...having reaction shots with layered dialogue from the same character...hope that makes sense hahah...made the tension in those scenes build more. I know how those moments feel in real life and those scenes made me feel that way. Great performances as well...duh.

boring yet convoluted. perhaps i’m not artistic enough to get it but i didn’t get it. no character had any defining trait other than boring. frank was hot but i’m not surprised. if i had only and hour and forty minutes left to live, i’d watch this movie because it’d feel like an eternity.
