I have been a big Western Movie and TV fan all my life, from "The Lone Ranger" in the 1950s to the latest, which there aren't very much of. I miss the 1960s TV Westerns and watch them on the various Western chennels. I'm 73 year old now and any time I see a Western advertised that I haven't seen before I wlll watch it, regardless of a poor rating from others. I wanted to give "The Warrent" the bendfit of the doubt, because others may simply have poor taste. I rented "The Warrent" on iTunes and oly got about 20 minutes into it when I wanted to stop watching it. It was boring, the acting was poor, and worst of all I felt it was written by teenager trying to write his first screenplay. "The Lone Ranger" was my hero in the mid-1950s, but when I watch it as an adult isis very clear that it was a kids show. Don't get me wrong, I still like "The Lone Ranger" for wat it was, and I would rather watch another episode of it than continue watching "The Warrent". Now you might thik I should have waited until the end of the movie to write a review, but I think first impressions are important. If a producer is going to try and sell me on watching their production, they had better have a good beginning. I will probalby go ahead and watch the rest of it before my rental dates expire, but today is not the time. I think I will search for a 1950s TV episode of "Wyatt Earp. I never wanted to turn one of thoes off!
