This animated movie Batman: Hush is short(like the other ones), bland, lacking, and does not remain faithful to the original source material that was the comic! For those who favor the book and the Hush character I do not recommend this. Warner Bro. Animation need to quit messing around and get their head in the game if they want to attract more audiences.

This was very well done, the twist was still very good even if you have read the comics

I have not read the comic so I'm coming at the movie without any background information about the Hush character. I really enjoyed this movie. The production value was really nice. Great graphics. I like how the characters were drawn. Great soundtrack. I also enjoyed the story. I rented it first but I'm going to go ahead and buy a copy. It was fun. No regrets watching it.
  • Hush quietly under-delivers

This movie took a lot of liberties deviating it from the source material. Epic moments were overshadowed by one dimensional voice acting (O’Mara) and the frequent sex talk and foul language take away from the genius and depth of the story line. I appreciated some of the high quality quotes from the source material making it in, and the soundtrack was quite good.

It isn't Hush. Not the storyline, nor the character. Sometimes loosely adapting a storyline works (see Under the Red Hood and Flashpoint Paradox for good examples) but it doesn't work here. The plot is boring, the voice acting is dull, unnecessary sexual content and explicit language that do not need to be in a PG-13 animated film but are simply there for the sake of being "cool" when there is nothing cool about it, and too many character/plot changes were made to the source material. It also is growing a bit tiresome that DC/Warner Bros continue to allow the producers of these animated films to make a mockery of beloved characters. They made a joke of Riddler's character, the actual Hush character was nowhere to be found, and they continue to try to paint Batman as some weirdo who tries to save the villains not simply because he's a hero AND THAT WHAT HEROES DO but because he's a mental nutcase who doesn't understand what he does.
  • Dumb story

The plot to this was dumb, even by DC comics standards. I couldn't even finish watching it.

Looks great,Animation was well done. Why the hell would they destroy such a great story? And the viilian they choose, just made me cringe, it was so stupid. They did the same exact thing with "Gotham by Gaslight."

This started off as a great adaptation with a few minor changes I was fine with , but the ending drastically changed . All together it’s enjoyable but a purist will have issues
