The whole movie builds up villian has being dudes own house. 50 words, zero action. Nothing explained. I dont know, trailer seems to be the best part of the movie.
Extremely slow and boring.

I like slow movies as long as they stay interesting, this was not one of them.

I had a bad feeling when I saw this was only 71 minutes long, and even worse when I saw the movie was filmed in 16x9, but the trailer piqued my interest so I watched it anyway. I shouldn’t have.
I felt so ripped off after watching this movie. Every interesting part was in the trailer, and the ending is laughable. It’s like GoT meets Evil Dead meets Hellraiser, and yes, it’s just as bad as that sounds.
Totally low budget, no plot, completely repetitive, super slow and super boring. No justification for this movie to be longer than 30 minutes (it would have made got a decent Tales from the Crypt episode). Only good parts were the landscapes (Iceland?). Avoid this one.
Awful, Couldn’t Finish it

Not sure if the total budget for this film exceeded $100K. So awful I had to stop watching it after 15 minutes. Please save your money.
Low budget crap

First of all, this movie is good. There’s nothing wrong with it at all. That being said, it’s not “amazing,” and it’s not, “horrible,” either.
It’s a slow burn. Real slow. But it’s beautifully shot, well acted for basically just one guy on screen the whole time and the score is excellent. The story is simple, but eludes to a greater lore, that I wish could’ve been expanded upon.
I’m not going to sing it’s praises, although it does deserve some credit for what was accomplished with a tiny budget, but I’m also not going to attack it for its shortcomings. The director hasn’t done much, but he’s got an eye for certain things and I think in time we’ll see some really incredible stuff from him.
A sleeper of a movie that grabs you by surprise!

I'd read several reviews...they were mixed. Either all amazing and gushing or completely sour and put off. At $.99 I couldn't resist checking it out.
Beautiful cinematography. Outstanding score. Solid acting. Simple and elegant and profound. The movie accomplished what it set out to do. Think, "The Witch". It accomplishes more with less. Horror without the FX. Horror really happens in the mind...the suspense, the slow build up, the foreshadowing, the dark omens that hint that the worst is yet to come.
This movie was so masterfully done in it's own simple and beautiful way. It's twist and turns. It captured so much...from Reanimator to Frankenstein to Beowulf to Alien.
The spider scene nailed it and confirmed the horror of what what was about to happen next.
I really enjoyed this movie, although some say it moved slow, I say it moved deliberately, steadily, purposefully with intent and intensity. The actor was awesome and perfectly cast. Such a simple story and premise. Well executed...wink, wink.
