Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival and based on a true story, UN TRADUCTOR follows Malin, (WEST WORLD's Rodrigo Santoro) a professor of Russian Literature at the University of Havana. In the wake of the Chernobyl nuclear explosion, Malin is torn from the abstract world of academia and forced into the relentlessly real world of medicine as he's sent to translate between Cuban doctors and the child victims of the disaster after they've arrived in the country for treatment.
