I absolutely love this soothing fireplace with cozy crackling sounds which i can now enjoy anytime i want to feel relaxed, regardless off wifi connection. I used to continuously download the same video from Netflix but depending on my wifi connection and reception, the experience was usually ruined with nonstop buffering. With this video being available for purchase, I can enjoy it anytime without frustration. Is it over priced? Maybe? I personally enjoy this video year round and value the relaxing experience of watching/listening to it so the money is well worth it. As for the bad review for it not playing on a loop…i compare it to the real life experience that eventually the fire dies out on its own. Unless you’re continuously feeding it logs. For a nonstop campfire sound experience, I would suggest downloading just an audio file from Apple Music or iTunes which you can definitely play on a loop. Problem solved 😁🏕️🔥
  • Excellent production; real recording of a real fire

This is a recording of several logs burning in a fireplace. The start has about 7 seconds of introduction music and a title screen, then it cuts to a fireplace with unburned logs just after they are lit. The movie continues as the logs burn down. No additional logs are added to the fire. There are no sounds apart from the sounds of the fire burning and crackling. There is no visual or audio evidence of the people recording the fire. This is a very clean recording. I think this is excellent. It’s a real recording of a real fire. It is not looped. The sounds are not prerecorded and overdubbed. There is no background music. I was looking for a recording of a fireplace, and this is it. It’s perfect. This was on Netflix at 4K in 2020, removed in 2021, so I purchased all three here on iTunes. I have watched it frequently, leaving it on on the living room while kids do homework to have something soothing on. We frequently nap while it is on, winter or summer. It definitely adds a coziness and warmth to the cold winter months. I would like to see the 4K versions here on iTunes. It would also be great to have a longer (2-4 hour) version where the fire is maintained, if that’s possible.

This only plays for an hour and then you have to restart it. No continuous loop option available. Disappointed!
