Really tried my best to like this movie because I love the two main actors, but I just didn’t and felt that I wasted $12.99 of my precious dollars and wasted my time.
  • So-so movie that deviates from the book

The book, while not a stellar read, was far better than this movie. It very loosely follows the book, but with many, many omissions and several additions that never happened in the book. The book had a very unfinished ending, so maybe the movie tried to clear that up, but it failed miserably.

After me not liking BridesMaids and especially the Ghostbusters re-imagining this movie had me worried. Anna Kendrick is one of IF NOT my favorite actress. Blake Lively was a favorite due to her work on Gossip Girl. After watching it I was very pleasantry surprised. For those crying about the language and material you should know by the rating what to expect. Second there are kids younger doing worse things than saying the F word. Third it is a movie you either can watch it or decide not to. I enjoyed the directing by Paul Feig, the storyline & chemistry between Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively! Great movie and will be purchasing soon thanks to the 4K resolution and Dolby enhancements.

First, love that Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick worked together in this. Second, Hilarious. Third, literally twists and turns until the end.

I’m surprised at the critical rating of this. 85?!? What movie are you even watching? This movie could have been written by a 2 year old and had a better plot. The story and plot twist makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Unless you’re a diehard Blake Lively fan Don’t even bother.

This films plot and storyline could have been better. The actors were great especially the children. A decent film if you’re bored and willing to pay for the rental.

An entertaining mix of dark comedy and mystery. Unlike some other watchers, I actually anticipated some of the twists and turns toward the end of the film but that didn't prevent me from still enjoying this fun ride. Also, Lively and Kendrick are GOLDEN on screen together. Fingers crossed for another collaboration in the future.

Pretty woman acting cute and sassy. Not what I think of as a thriller. But, cute and fun movie. Enjoyed it. Not sorry.
