Description

Talented rookie race-car driver Jimmy Bly (Kip Pardue) has started losing his focus and begins to slip in the race rankings. It's no wonder, with the immense pressure being shoveled on him by his overly ambitious promoter brother as well as Bly's romance with his arch rival's girlfriend Sophia. With much riding on Bly, car owner Carl Henry (Burt Reynolds) brings former racing star Joe Tanto (Sylvester Stallone) on board to help Bly. To drive Bly back to the top of the rankings, Tanto must first deal with the emotional scars left over from a tragic racing accident which nearly took his life.

I loved this movie as a kid and 20 years later I still love it. It’s a great movie, not as bad as its been ratings. Not every movie is meant to be perfect.

I’m sorry, but this movie is really bad. This is b-movie crap in every way, one of Stallone’s worst movies, and maybe the worst auto racing movie ever made. You don’t want to pay money to watch this, trust me.

The worst film about motor sports ever made ...period.
  • A classic and underrated film.

Not enough heart pumping racing films imo, people would argue that this is not as “driven” and good as it is.. but imo it is, It’s the films you remember that get a chance and become a good memory, this film is that for me, not quite up there with days of thunder but still deserves some recognition! Rent it 1st, you might be surprised!
