Militant environmentalists videotape the rapid growth of a gigantic root system that is ripping through the country like an earthquake. A government agent (Adrian Pasdar of TV’s HEROES) contacts a plant expert (Stefanie von Pfetten of PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS), who discovers that her ex-colleague, Frame, (James Morrison of TV’s 24, TV’s REVENGE) is the probable source of the ancient seed that started the disaster. With the threat of massive tsunamis looming, they confront Frame in his compound with the hopes that they can disable the root and bring the disaster to an end.
