Arrival

I didn’t get it. At all. Someone told me this movie was great! I can tell you that it was not. It was a huge waste of time and money.

This is a most refreshingly original sci-fi movie experience: a mobius strip of a story. It’s a cinematic feat pulled off eloquently translating a complex subject with lots of moving parts into a moving experience that is as brave as it is fragile and as triumphant as it is shattering.

This is by far the greatest movie hands down. The music, acting, message. Even the trailer was great for crying out loud. This movie deserves more stars.

Such a great story that allows us to relate to characters very well. Story also has a slow, suspenseful pace that is enjoyable & keeps you interested the whole time.

A bit slow to develop but hanging off the edge of my seat the whole time. Really makes you think and plays tricks on the mind like a Christopher Nolan film. Glad there was some closure about the aliens and their visit.

Highly recommend to anyone who is into sci-fi. Such a fantastically unique concept and really a masterpiece of a movie. 5/5.

Every person who gave this 0 or 1 Stars just doesn’t have the brainpower to understand the films logic.

This isn’t interstellar or Star Wars. If you want something not accurate with a ridiculous premise, or something more akin to an action movie you’ll hate this. But if you like to think and like sci-fi this is definitely the movie for you.

Arrival was the most interesting science fiction movies i have ever seen in a theater. And most of all the movie's tone is so well done and excueted that sets the tone for this science fiction drama awatis. If you think about it Arrival is a melo-drama science fiction that oh aliens are here and are going to take over the planet no it's just about communcation and emotions throughout. I thought Amy Adams performence was fantastic so as Jeremy Renner who is good playing Hawkeye like usual and he does a good job and i enjoyed the movie i wish i go into detail but it's a sweet sour taste of the mind.

Truthfully, everyone saying that this movie is stunning is attempting to sound smart. Realistically, this movie means nothing but attempts to sound deep. Not only does it not make sense, but it is boring. Extremely boring. One may think that the story will lead up to an intense and climactic ending, but all viewers get is an awkward a flashback that tries to disguise itself as something of deep, thought provoking meaning. It does not mean anything. It is dumb. Y’all wasted my time.
