Hilarious is an understatement of a descriptive word. I think this movie has all it needs to entertain and export the watcher to a land where humor rules. I loved it.

This is the funniest movie I’ve ever seen. Even funnier than bridesmaids. McCarthy is so good. Comic gold!

  • This is what passes for comedy these days?

Rented for $0.99, so I'm not going to complain too much. But, this was bad. Other reviewers say this is better than Heat or Bridesmaids? Well, those must have been horrible. It just isn't funny. I like Jason Statham, but he was not used properly in this movie. I guess it comes down to not giving a crap about any of the characters. Even in a comedy, you need that. I'm not particularly sensitive to this, but I also agree there was a lot of swearing that just wasn't necessary.

Melissa is either hit or miss with me. Happy to say that she is a hit in this one. Rose Byrne was really great too.

It doesn't even deserve 1 star. Why comedians need to resort to such foul humor when they are naturally funny. Didn't finish the movie because it became so ridiculously pathetic and base
  • Good Acting Bad Script

I thought the acting from all sides was good. The few action scenes, especially at the end, were great. The script is horrendous. A lot of cat lady/homely jokes, over-the-top haughtiness for Rose Byrne's character, and way too much, unneeded, cursing. Jason Statham's part was weird as well, a lot of pop-in pop-out and felt Jar-Jar Binks like. This was, probably, supposed to be a parody as well, but it didn't work as one.
